We are SmartRigging, a Dutch based Yacht rigging manufacturer. We were founded 20 years ago by sailing enthausiasts.

Our company prides itself on its Dutch engineering flair, which is evident in the high-quality rigging solutions we offer to our clients.

At Smartrigging, we specialize in the production of lightweight, composite rigging, which is known for its extreme durability and longevity. As an independent supplier, we have no obligation to cross-sell, allowing us to focus solely on providing the best rigging solutions for our clients.

Where we are

Smartrigging is housed in a 11.365m² purpose build facility in Joure, The Netherlands.

We can produce stays up to 240 meters length ranging from 4mm wire equivalent up to 2.400 tonnes break load.

With three production lines and eight overbraiding machines we can cover all your rigging requirements.

Fibremax

Our sister company Fibremax was founded in 2009. Fibremax uses the technology as developed by Smartrigging, but focuses on industrial applications. Fibremax is the worldwide market leader in the build and delivery of industrial linear tension members.

We share our production facility and staff.
